Scope and Contents

Two advertisements listing the Republican nominees within the state of Virginia for House of Delegates, United States Congress, Governor, Attorney General, and state Congress. Also, one open letter titled, "To the Republican Eletors of the Frist Congressional District." It is an appeal from H. H. Wells, candidate for Governor for the Republican Party, for the electors of that disctrict to support the selected nominee instead of splitting their vote among him and another person they preferred. As doing the latter would ensure a Republican loss for the district.
