The Washington Program seeks to provide students with exposure to the resources available in our nation's capital in a wide variety of areas, including government, education, communications, science and technology and the fine arts.
The Washington Program was begun in the 1980s and was run by the Thomas Jefferson Public Policy Program in the mid 1990s. The program is now called the William and Mary in Washington Program, and is run by the College's Washington Office.
