The following excerpts were provided by the seller: "Jan 24, 1935 - Went to school in taxi as it was cold. Received stamps. Did homework. Listened to radio. Looked over cachet list. Read stamp offers. Am getting another cold. Jan 28, 1935 - Didn't go to school today. Received Benedict Arnold cachet. Pasted 15 stamps in album. Wrote for Boy Scout cachet. Sent stamps back to Charles Murphy. Read and listened to the radio. April 3, 1934 - Today is my birthday. I am 16. Got swell presents from everyone. Felt a little better today. Had birthday cake and ice cream for supper. September 17, 1934 - Read Wild West Weekly, which Dad bought for me yesterday. Played cards. Got American Boy. Worked on Airplane. Listened to radio. October 7, 1935 - Listened to World Series game. Tigers won game 4-3 and Series 4-2. I won 20 cents on them. Received a selection of stamps from Charles Murphy. Started taking new medicine. "
