This file contains biographical information about Simon Snyder. There are three documents in this file. Two of the papers are identical and include a drawing of Simon Snyder and information about his life, and the other document is a small biographical booklet written by Benjamin F. Snyder. According to the documents, Simon Snyder was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on November 5, 1759, was the Governor of Pennsylvania from 1808-1817, and he died in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on November 9, 1819.
