Heard good accounts of them from Dr. when he arrived; he went to Mobile when he heard of Mrs. Ludlow's death; Mrs. Field said her mother only suffered a little; their house has been sold and they must move, but the house they are moving to will be be better than the old one; wishes they could be with her, but feels they ought to stay; the person bringing the letter will tell her the details; they boys are well; news of family; the house they are mocing into is the parsonage; the clergyman is going to live in the country; hears Willie's lessons everyday; has plenty of sewing, though not as much as usual, since fabric is so hard to come by; has longed to be with them this summer; and will be very glad to see them again; more news of family; sends love to family and friends. 2pp. AL Including Ts of ALS, 2pp.
