Has been to France, 3 days at Dunkirk at Messrs. De Bacque. They seem agreeable to do business but due to the critical condition of affairs in France, the exchange is above par. Will go to Liverpool to look situation over. “Expect to get the scheme completed to the fullest extent and the goods shipped…”
