Wise's "extraordinary letter" and claims that Wise can be "formidable" when he opposes something; stresses to Buchanan that he always tried to keep Wise in line with the Administration; claims taht he, Tyler, is for the Administration and is ready for a fight; feels taht Buchanan can "whip them all" and points out that Buchanan has the greater portion of the Democratic Party supporting him. 1 p.
