Letters from Henry Bradford Goodwin to his brother, Frederick D. Goodwin. In the December 8, 1842 letter, Henry Goodwin gives genealogical information on the Goodwin Family and his immediate family. In the March 27, 1845 letter and later letters, he gives his reasons for the defense of slavery in the North.
