Seeks information concerning a grant issued for "160 acres of land surveyed for Richard Beckett lying on the little river joining William Terry and Jonathan Graham's;" the survey was made on May 24, 1774; if no grant was issued he [JB] wishes to pay; he [JB] is one of his [RB's] heirs; asks for an immediate reply and for the letter to be directed to Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. 1 p.
