Letter from National Commission on the Causes and Prevention of Violence asking about firsthand knowledge of violence during the convention; Pollard replies that she would not have know anything was happening except for the media and the number of police and soldiers on the streets, felt the Chicago authorities were wise to take precautions against threats to disrupt the convention.
