Scope and Contents
The following excerpts were provided by the seller: “Ann was up. Sister Bertha went to City Hospital at Meadville. Mother and Dr. Brown went with her. We girls went to station. Dandy day……Bertha and I went to Conneautville. In the evening Bertha and I was down to Anna’s and Mary’s. Ned was over Election Day. Beautiful Day. Gov. Wilson elected President. Marshall Vice President……..Father was buried. Funeral at one o’clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Baldwin of Springboro preached. Nice Day. Good sleighing. Mrs. Ora Barton and Miss Orah, Roy Everett’s and Charley Duncan sung, Gathering Home, Safe in the Arms of Jesus and Saved by Grace…….Ned took me to station. Went to Linesville and Harmonsburg. Visited Mrs. Frank Mahonay…..Was down the street. Our first night at our new house at 915 West 17th St. Mother and I went out in afternoon. Nice Day……”
