Scope and Contents In 1956 the Jamestown Corporation sponsored a playwriting contest as a means of finding alternatives to The Common Glory. The Collection includes these scripts as well as others submitted to the corporation in later years. The scripts are arranged chronologically (except for the first script of the series), with undated ones at the end of the series.
