Scope and Contents Wants to know if Jerdone wants any pork or hogs; cash is scarce and would like to sell them; corn crop doing very poorly, the season being too wet and windy; wheat doing well, yielding 700 bushels and has grown two hogs heads of tobacco; sorry to learn Mr. Douglass will remain in Scotland until spring; has been sickness this fall and lost two slaves.
