Scope and Contents The scarcity of money and the favorable situation for "our object of securing a majority of the stock (of the Petersburg R.R.) in the hands of our friends." Dishes sent to his sister; and some comments about the control of a "Board" (probably of a railway). Illness of "our little Charley" and his plans to come to Richmond for a railroad meeting.
