Carte du Cours du Maragnon ou de la Grande Riviere Des Amazones, 1757 Dans sa partie navigable depuis Jaen de Bracamorosos jusqui son Embouchure et qui Comprehend la Province de Quito, et la Côte de la Guïane depuis le Cap dde Nord jusqu'à Esséquebè. Leveé en 1743 et 1744, et assujettie aux Observations Astronomiques par M. de la Condamine, de l'Ac R.le des Sc Augmentée du Cours de la Riviere Noire, et d'autres détails tiréd de divers Mémoires et Rouiers manuscrits de Voyageurs moderne.

[Map of the Course of the Maragnon or the Great River of the Amazon In its navigable part since Jean de Bracamorosos until its Mouth and which Includes the Province of Quito, and the Coast of Guiana from Cape de North to Esséquebè. Raised in 1743 and 1744, and subject to the Astronomical Observations by M. de la Condamine, of the Royal Academy of Science Increased the course of the Black River, and other details drawn from various Memoirs and handwritten Roads of Modern Travelers.

Map of the Amazon River from Peru or present-day Ecuador to Brazil with smaller rivers feeding into the Amazon named. Includes degrees of latitude and longitude and a scale in marine leagues. Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and French areas are distinguished.

Detailed map of the Amazon is referred to as "the first scientific map of the Amazon." It shows the 1733-44 expedition of Charles-Marie la Condamine, a French scientist and explorer.
