Scope and Contents

Scope and Contents "Lewis and Clark and Me" was created in 1997-1998, revised and retitled "Bird Woman, the Movie" in 2001 for the "Fast Forward" series of the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, and toured extensively through the touring program of the Virginia Commission for the Arts.  Text, music, staging, and performance concept are by Claudia Stevens.  This series includes scripts, notes, literary and musical sketches, production materials (including prop artifacts that have been removed and added to the Manuscripts Artifact Collection), programs, production and staging notes, program notes, news articles and reviews, posters, newsletters, correspondence, brochures, and crayon drawings by children who viewed performances.
