Scope and Contents

1-pair of Air Force Epaulets for the rank of colonel. The epaulets are dark blue and have the eagle from the Great Seal of the United States embroidered in silver. There is a thin silver line embroidered at the bottom of the epaulets signifying that the wearer is a male colonel. The epaulets belonged to Armand J. Galfo, U.S. Air Force Reserves officer and Assistant Dean of the School of Education at the College of William and Mary between 1965 and 1966. They measure approximately 4.125in. (length) x 2in. (width) and are in good conditon. Located in University Archives Artifact Collection, UA Textiles. UA 2007.063.07a-b
