Describes their trip from Williamsburg. While they were at the Strobia's in Richmond, they saw Rebecca and Mary Bird, Beverley Botts, Miss Barbara [Page?], Bella Waller, and many other friends. Johnny scared them with an accident with his horse. Her father does not have any orders yet. Describes Charley's greeting to her. [Note: Johnny and Charlie are Lissie's half-brothers.
