Describes a meeting at the Court House to choose delegates to the education Convention in Richmond in December. The lectures of Professor Welles. Mentions J. Tally, Ben. Pollard, Bob Taylor, Rd. Leecock, Dr. Clinton, Mr. Sylvester, Va. Loyall, the Cooks, and John and Martin Cormick.
