Mary was going visiting and taking the train and "was very much alarmed at the idea of the dangers she was to encounter." Must ride four miles to post the letter. Mentions Cousin Lucy, Aunt Nancy, Mrs. Morrison, Mrs. Pickett, and Miss M. Bowden.
