Scope and Contents She has not yet entirely recovered from a bilious fever and a quartan ague. "I should not complain for this is my first introdcution to both ague and bilious fever." Brother John Williamson has been very busy with patients and has not yet specified a time for his wedding. She shares news of various friends and relatives. "Verily this house seems to be... into chaos-- not an asylum can be found secure from the dust, dirt, and din of Bricklay[ers], Carpenters-- and such a tardy race are they that we can not even anticapate when we [will?] be free from their incursion."
