Scrapbook created by William Henry Holloway while he served in the Army as part of the 36th Company, Coast Artillery from 1902-1904. Included in the scrapbook is also a World War I Soldier's Record. In it Holloway records all of his war experience with the 36th (Philippine insurrection) and the 8th Regiment (which was absorbed into the 52nd Artillery Corps at the end of World War I). He lists bases, cities, major battles, and movements. He also lists his entire military experience in the front of the book, consisting of one year in the Philippines, 16 months in the World War in France.
