The papers of College of William and Mary Department of English faculty member Terry Meyers document his career and research interests.

Acc. 2004.01 is the printed four page illustrated prospectus for "Uncollected Letters of Algernon Charles Swinburne", 3 vols., to be published May 2004 by Pickering and Chatto, London.

Acc. 2009.256 includes file of material relating to Prof. Terry Meyers' ACLU lawsuit about the Virginia law which required him to obtain permission to access erotic Victorian poetry. The materials include correspondence with lawyers and others, copies of the legal papers, clippings about the case, and other related material. Also included is a copy of a literary manuscript that will itself eventually come to the Special Collections Research Center, William Sharp's Ariadne in Naxos and Beatrice, which Meyers published in 1996 as The Sexual Tensions of William Sharp. The file includes materials from several scholars dealing with Sharp.

Acc. 2009.272 and Acc. 2010.381 are closed until 2027 or one year after Meyers' death.

Acc. 2014.078: Contains correspondence written to Terry Meyers while Chair of the Department of English. Some of the topic discussed include the Victorian's Institute, student papers, athletics, and administrative concerns of the Department of English.

Acc. 2009.272 and Acc. 2010.381 are closed until 2027 or one year after Meyers' death. The remainder of the collection is open to researchers without restrictions. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, such as the Virginia Public Records Act (Code of Virginia. § 42.1-76-91); and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (Code of Virginia § 2.2-3705.5).
