Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

Photo album, 1905, containing 30 photographs depicting work on the buildings and equipment set-up of the Auburn Gold Mining Company in South Dakota. Images show cabins, workers, machinery, trains and landscape. 27 of the photos have brief handwritten subtitles.

The name of the company and the location were provided by the seller and have not been verified at this point. It has also not been determined whether the photographs are company records or were taken privately by one of the workers.
