Scope and Contents
Diary of David F. Park which documents his trip through Belgium and France in the aftermath of the Franco-Prussian War. Includes descriptions of his travels, his meetings with members of the British Army, and his observations about the damge done by the war. There are also three printed documents in German: the Prussian Bulletin reporting the bombardment of Paris, the Prussian Bulletin reporting the surrender of the French forces at Sedan, and the Prussian Bulletin marking the start of the Siege of Paris.

Collection is open to all researchers.
