He and Boucher are both wanderers, but Boucher prefers mountains. Boucher's work [A View of the Causes and Consequences of the American Revolution] has been well received by Lord Kenyon and the Archbishop of York. As he was "struck out of the Privy Council" after giving his opinion against accepting a mitre in the Scottish church, he had not heard that Boucher had taken a house at Carlisle and does not think it signifies anything whether he approves or not. He hopes that he will soon be able to talk to Boucher instead of writing to him. Boucher has had a misunderstanding over terms of printing with George Robinson.
