Letter, 1863 March 14

File — Box: Small Collections Box 14, Folder: 1
Identifier: id322338

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This letter is from William J. Harris, in Camp near Falling Creek, to "My Dearest Lia," no place. Harris renews his invitation of yesterday's letter for her to come to Virginia if accompanied by another woman. He will apply for a furlough, but it will probably be turned down. He thinks constantly of his "dear absent wife."
