Series 2, Virginia Elections Project, contains 5 boxes of assembled data on Virginia elections from 1892-1975. Most items are election returns. Acc. 2008.115: Contains correspondence and reports from 1972 to 1975 of the Social Science Building Committee, formed shortly after the Institute's move to Morton Hall.

The bulk of this collection consists of memos and schedules for a conference at the College of William and Mary's Marshall-Wythe Institute that were previously part of the University Archives Publications Collection.

Scope and Contents

This collection includes audiotapes and manuscripts of lectures delivered, as well as announcements for lectures given at various Marshall-Wythe Symposiums sponsored by the College of William and Mary.

Many Marshall-Wythe Symposium lectures were published and have been cataloged in Swem Library's online catalog.
