Scope and Contents This collection consists of an "extract" from the faculty minutes of the College of William & Mary, granting a master's degree in 1866 to Frank H. Alfriend. William Winston Snead Papers, 1898-1899

Scope and Contents The collection includes six Certificates of Distinction awarded to Snead.  There is one dated June 23, 1898 and presented to Snead for passing his examination in the Department of Pedagogy.  It is signed by Hugh S.
