Ledgers, 1835-1876, of Edgerly Pierson and Sons, a lumber mill company from near Lima, Ohio. Contains lists of customers, how much they paid, the types of wood used, and the services that they received. Services received include grinding corn, cutting wood, and building items such as fence posts, sleds, flooring, and other items.

Letters, 1821-1858, received by George D. Glenn, iron founder at Isabella Furnace near Luray, Page County, Va. from family (members of the Bradley, Groves and Dowdell families) and friends who have left Page County for West Virginia, Ohio and Oregon. A few letters concern patterns and moldings for iron castings and there are three letters, 1826-1831, written by a Quaker, Abraham Alderdice of Wilmington, Del.

Diary, 1890, of Daniel J. Smith of Aultman, Ohio on a trip to Corvallis, Oregon. Includes the names of hotels at which Smith stayed, his expenses during the course of his trip, conditions of the roads on which he traveled, and the names and addresses of people that he met along the way. Also included is discussion of local politics in various locations which Smith visited.
