George Fisher Harrison Papers

Scope and Contents The papers of George Fisher Harrison contain three of his essays or orations presented while a student at the College of William and Mary between 1840-1843.  One oration on ancient history was delivered on July 4, 1841, an essay on "Woman" was read before the Franklinian Society on December 11, 1841, and a Valedictory to the Tau Chi Society was read on July 4, 1843.
