Scope and Contents Contains a loose scrapbook of photographs detailing student life at the College of William and Mary that were collected by Muriel Johnstone, class of 1929, during her time at the College. Included are photographs of campus buildings, Johnstone's fellow classmates, and student activities, including athletics, May Pole dancing, and Johnstone's sorority, Kappa Delta. Also included with the scrapbook are loose photographs and publications about Johnstone and the Kappa Delta sorority pin.

Vinda Elizabeth Kibler Letters

Scope and Contents Letters written to Vinda Elizabeth Kibler, also called Kitty or Elizabeth, between 1917-1924, while she was at Bridgewater College in Rockingham County (1917-1922), the State Teacher's College in Harrisonburg (1923), and at her teaching post in Front Royal, Virginia (1923-1924). Most letters are from her mother and father on their small farm in Woodville, Rappahannock County, Virginia. Also included are a number of letters from other relatives, businesses, and a pen pal in France....

Scope and Contents Mss. Acc. 1993.06-01, Series 1 - 4: Papers and photographs of the Edward Myers Lee Family of Williamsburg, Virginia. Lee graduated from the College of William and Mary, as did many of his children.  An album has photos of a May Pole in front of the Williamsburg Court House on Duke of Gloucester St. The papers include material for some of his children, particulary Elizabeth Mallory Lee (Mrs. John Walston Henderson), Peticolas Lee (Mrs. Robert Edward Lee), Mary King Lee, and Edward M. "Lips: Expressions of Female Sexuality" Records, 2007-2012

Scope and Contents The publication focuses on the importance of female sexuality and encourages students to voice their own opinions and experiences regarding sex. As the first of it's kind on campus, it received some backlash when first published. Records consist of the original proposal for lips, meeting notes, publicity articles, submissions as well as published issues.

Evelyn V. Palmer Letter

Scope and Contents Consists of one letter to College of William and Mary student Evelyn V. Palmer from her mother, who indicates she will travel to Williamsburg to sell goods in an effort to raise the funds her daughter requested. Mrs. Palmer also shares an update of events at the Palmer home in Suffolk, Virginia.

Laura Parrish Papers

Scope and Contents This collection contains completed questionnaires sent to women who attended William and Mary between 1918 and 1945, keypunch cards recording the data, computer printouts, and a code book. This data was gathered by Laura Parrish for her thesis "When Mary Entered with her Brother William: Women Students at the College of William and Mary, 1918-1945" (M. A. Thesis, College of William and Mary, 1988).

Scope and Contents The collection includes subject files, speeches, and other material from the administration of College of William and Mary President Thomas Ashley Graves with some overlap with his predecessor Davis Y.
