Letters from L.J. Wolfgram to Hazel Tavares from 1943 -1945. Wolfgram served in World War II with the United States Marines, Medical Field Service, Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines. The 3rd Battalion of the 3rd Marines formed in New River (Camp Lejeune), North Carolina and participated in the Battle of Bougainville and also saw heavy fighting on Guam.
