The book contains black and white and tinted photographs, cartes-de-visite, and newspaper clippings of hundreds of women including Ethel Barrymore, Sarah Berhardt, Florence (Lathrop) Field Page, Alice (Roosevelt) Longworth, members of royalty, and wives and daughters of diplomats.
