Account book, 1847-1866, of Edward C. Thurston from Fall River, Massachusetts for goods purchased and sold. The bulk of the entries in the book are made up of names to whom Thurston paid money. There are several loose pieces of paper at the end of the volume, including more accounts and a letter to Thurston to serve on jury duty in 1864.

Scope and Contents Journal, 1827-1831 of Edward Thurston, a mason working in Fall River Massachusetts. The journal is made up almost entirely of financial records, showing how much he paid workers and various supply orders. Also included in the Journal are Journal entries chronologically earlier show only a few other employees being paid, while some of the later entries there are between 10 to 15 workers.
