Margaret Horn Booth Scrapbook

This collection consists of a scrapbook from Margaret Horn Booth while she was a student at the William and Mary from 1940-1941. The scrapbook contains photographs, programs, clippings, correspondence, ticket stubs, and other materials concerning Booth's freshman year at the College. Scrapbook is 9" x 12" with a cork cover.

Papers, 1801-1860, of the Britt family of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Includes documents, deeds, accounts, and bills of sale for slaves and references to John Cartwright.

First folder contains an admission ticket to the "La Fayette Ball Room" with a notation on the reverse, "card of invitation to the ball ... to be given for LaFayette at Yorktown...did not take place until afterwords and at Williamsburg."  Signature illegible.

Campaigns and Elections Collection

Scope and Contents

An artificial collection of documents, election tickets, campaign literature, and photographs from national, state, and local elections. Most of the state election material concerns Virginia and the largest group of materials is from the 1932 presidential campaign.
