Scope and Contents Letter from George P.A. Healy, Chicago, to an unknown female where he mentions her Mother's loss of eyesight, says he met her half-brother "when painting the portrait of the present Archbishop of New York" and asks her to tell her Mother "is now paid three hundred dollars in gold for a 25"x35."  He'll be intact when he is able to paint a previously discussed portrait.  January 12, 1868.
