Letter written by L.D. Killette, Company C, 43rd N.C. He requests that Sergeant W.L. Dew of Company C, 43rd N.C. Regiment be given authority to be absent from his company. Otherwise, send him to his company without delay or to the hospital. By order of Lieutenant Colonel William Gaston Lewis, Commanding 43rd N.C. Regiment.
