This is an artificial collection of material related to visits to the College of William and Mary by HRH Prince Charles and greetings sent to William and Mary by him. The first item is a volume presented to the university by HRH The Prince of Wales on February 13, 1993. The volume is composed of reproductions of selected portrait engravings of King William III and Queen Mary II from the Royal Library, Windsor Castle. Acc. 1987.80 is a framed copy of the Honorary Fellowship certificate awarded to Prince Charles in 1981 signed by President Thomas A. Graves and Edward E. Brickell. The certificate was made by Ames and Rollinson, NY.

Acc. 1989.21 is a typed greeting signed "Charles" sent to the College of William and Mary and read at Charter Day ceremonies in honor of the Glorious Revolution Tercentenary in 1989.

Acc. 1997.15 is a message of recognition of the College's special status in the tercentenary celebration of the Glorious Revolution from Prince Charles and accompanying material. The accompanying material includes a letter from Sir John Riddell to Sir Clive Bossom and a letter from Bossom to President Paul Verkuil along with a text of the proclamation. There are two copies of a London Times article on Prince Charles' opinion of the teaching of English and a handwritten note on it from Sir Clive. There is also a copy of a news photo of Queen Elizabeth II with Queen Beatrix.

Acc. 1982.16 is a scrapbook assembled by the College's University Communications office about the 1981 visit of Prince Charles to the College of William and Mary.
