From the Collection:

Letter by Wilson C[ary] Nicholas, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to an unknown person, possibly in Baltimore, Maryland, requesting a loan to help his brother's family.  Also hopes that money problems in Baltimore are better and rejoices in the possibility of "termination of our differences with France."  April 4, 1800.
