Scope and Contents

Letter, Moses Myers, Norfolk, Virginia to Joseph L. Robers, Norfolk, Virginia. Moses is transferring all duty bonds due & payable since March 27 to Conway Whittle who has been appointed Collector of Customs. As soon as MOses has obtained his receipt for bonds deposited with Roberts, he will execute the transfer. Written on same sheet is a response from Roberts on the same date, stating there has not been any duty bonds paid to Myers' account.
