Letter from WIllis A Jenkins to JAC Chandler, 27 April, 1922, giving an account of Blodgett's Life. NOTE: In 1886 Earle Blodgett of the Philippine Islands, an alumnus of W&M, gave to the college ten gold medals, one for each year, for the best teacher; and, in 1890, silver medals, these to be known as the Brafferton prizes for teaching.
