Scope and Contents Letters and papers of the Earls of Dunmore, a branch of the Murray family of Scotland. All of the papers, except eleven items relating to Virginia, 1770, 1776 are photocopies. There are three Virginia-related items: a land grant, 1773; account, 1774-1776, of Lord Dunmore concerning one of his plantations; and letter, 1775, written by Lord Dunmore while on board the Royal William.
